We have confirmed an issue in the Nintendo Switch version (ver.1.10.3) where, under certain conditions, save data may fail to load correctly the first time the game is launched after updating.

We have identified the cause of this issue and are working urgently to prepare a corrective patch.

Issue Details

On the first launch after updating, save data may fail to load.

When this occurs, a dialog appears on screen stating: “Failed to load: An unknown error occurred” and existing save data cannot be accessed.

Important Notice

If you close the dialog and proceed to start a NEW GAME, the existing save data will be overwritten and permanently lost.

To preserve your data, please do not start a NEW GAME if the error dialog appears. Instead, exit the game immediately and refrain from playing until the patch is released.

Please note that overwritten save data cannot be restored.

We sincerely apologize to all players who have been affected by this issue.

Cause

The issue stems from inconsistencies in save data triggered by either of the following actions:

1. Playing Alice Maestera(REBIRTHED) from Extra Song Pack 9 on ver.1.10.1 or earlier, and then opening Gallery > Play Stats.
2. Playing Alice Maestera(REBIRTHED) from Extra Song Pack 9 on ver.1.10.2.

As a result, a crash occurs during the save data update process on the first launch of ver.1.10.3, preventing the game from loading existing save data.

Next Steps

The cause has been identified and confirmed as resolvable with a corrective patch.

We are working urgently to release this patch.

Please note again that starting a NEW GAME will permanently overwrite existing save data.

We deeply apologize for the inconvenience, especially to players who lost save data.

We are doing everything we can to deliver a fixed update promptly.
