2025/4/4 …… Game Streaming, Video Posting & Derivative Works Guidelines Released
■ Guideline Details
[Regarding Game Streaming and Video Uploads]
(1) When streaming or uploading content, please respect the experience of other players who wish to enjoy the game themselves.
(2) If your stream or upload contains major story developments or spoilers, please include a “Spoiler Warning” in your description or title to be considerate of new players.
(3) For both streaming and video uploads, only content in which you yourself as the player are playing or providing commentary is permitted.
(4) If any streamed or uploaded content is found to include elements listed under “Prohibited Content,” we may, at our discretion, take appropriate action—such as requesting its removal—to protect our content and community.
[Who Can Create Derivative Works]
These guidelines apply only to individual creators engaging in derivative works for non-commercial purposes.
If a corporate entity wishes to create derivative content, or if an individual wants to engage in activities that go beyond the scope of these guidelines, they must contact us directly.
[Definition of Non-Commercial Use]
We consider activities non-commercial if they are done as a hobby, without intent to profit.
Furthermore, monetization through ad revenue systems on video-sharing platforms such as YouTube, as well as features that allow viewers to directly send money—such as tips or Super Chats—will not be considered commercial use.
[Prohibited Content]
Even if you’re an individual creator, the following types of content are strictly prohibited:
(1) Content that violates public order or decency.
(2) Content that infringes on the rights of third parties.
(3) Content that includes promotion of specific products or services, or that contains political or religious messaging.
(4) Content that promotes, endorses, or depicts criminal acts, anti-social behavior, or other violations of the law.
(5) Content that directly reuses company assets (logos, illustrations, videos, audio, music, manga, etc.) or uses scanned/traced material in a way that lacks original creativity.
(6) Content that deviates from the tone of our titles or damages the image of our characters, as judged by us.
(7) Streaming or uploading content that only shows cut scenes or event scenes, or content that focuses solely on sound elements such as voice, BGM, or sound effects.
(8) Content that falsely claims or implies sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation with our company.
(9) Any other content that we deem inappropriate.
If your work includes any of the above, we reserve the right to request its removal and may take further action if necessary.
[Disclaimer]
These guidelines are intended to support fan engagement and creative expression.
As a general rule, we do not respond to individual inquiries or reports regarding specific derivative works.
However, we may reach out directly in cases of significant guideline violations.
These guidelines do not constitute any form of legal guarantee. Creators are solely responsible for any consequences resulting from their activities. We accept no liability whatsoever.
These guidelines are subject to change without prior notice.
