Character Guide ②
Brown (Soldier)

< Key Skills & Strategy Tips >
A soldier unit specialized in base defense, boasting strong defense and counterattack capabilities.
Line of Fire (Active)
An AoE attack that triggers at the end of the turn.
Works best when combined with Brown’s debuff skills.
Grants increased MP if the skill defeats enemies.
Seduction Tactics (Passive)
Increases counterattack damage.
Especially useful against cavalry-heavy enemy teams.
Invitation to Hell (Passive)
Increases Brown’s attack when defending a base.
Deploy him at key bases to prevent enemy occupation.
A Veteran’s Pride (Passive)
Reduces damage taken on turn 3.
Pair with Command Battles to maximize defense success.
Come at me, you dogs! (EX)
Lowers enemy attack and mobility while drawing aggro. Greatly boosts the entire team’s survivability by making Brown the primary target.
Sanjay (Soldier)

< Key Skills & Strategy Tips >
A hybrid unit that buffs team defense and unleashes devastating attacks once MP is charged.
Steel Phalanx (Active)
Greatly boosts allied defense.
Stronger than Geena’s version, ideal when facing high-damage enemies.
Imperial Vice-Captain (Passive)
Boosts the defense of all allied soldier units.
Build an infantry-focused team to maximize effectiveness.
Dauntlessness (Passive)
If HP is 25% or lower at the start of a turn, Sanjay gains a massive boost to attack and defense.
You can intentionally enter battle at low HP, then heal during combat with Carmine or Tyler to maintain the stat buff.
Imperial Tactical Fire (EX)
Costly at 5 MP, but Sanjay’s high base stats and 1.8× damage multiplier make this skill capable of wiping out entire enemy teams.
Post-attack, Sanjay’s stats drop, so use it as a finisher in critical moments.
Carmine (Soldier)

< Key Skills & Strategy Tips >
Carmine’s personal attack power is low, but she excels as the game’s premier healer.
Emergency Treatment (Active)
Restores HP for 1 MP.
Heals more than Tyler’s A Banner Rescue and with higher mobility, Carmine can reliably serve as your main healer. Since HP is directly tied to damage, healing is crucial to your team’s offensive power. Also gains the passive Combat Medic, which heals all allies after battle ends.
Scarlet Fever (Passive)
Grants Scarlet +1 starting MP if Carmine is present in battle.
Scarlet will be able to use Scarlet of the People starting from turn one, giving your favorite character a powerful edge right out of the gate.
Meal Guide (Passive)
Increases the supply (healing) rate at the base where Carmine is stationed.
Eventually extends to adjacent bases, significantly boosting your supply line efficiency.
Solo Cheer Squad (EX)
For 3 MP, increases the critical hit rate and crit damage of all allies.
Carmine acts early, making this a great way to boost your team’s total damage output from the start.
Primula (Cavalry)

< Key Skills & Strategy Tips >
A highly supportive cavalry unit, Primula stands out with her offensive buffs and a unique damage-nullifying effect.
For the Saint! (Passive)
A powerful passive that boosts the entire team’s attack just by participating in battle.
Pairs especially well with Scarlet, whose damage scales with recovery.
War Angel Rush (Active)
Attacks a single enemy and increases all allies’ attack power.
Primula’s high mobility allows her to set up devastating combos with characters like Scarlet (Crimson Wave) or Jane (Knockout Technique).
Salvation Sings (Passive)
Grants +1 starting MP at the beginning of battle.
If you pair Primula and Carmine with Scarlet, you can start the battle with 5 MP. This setup is highly recommended.
Graybolt Maiden (Passive)
Heals all allies at the start of battle.
Primula’s presence alone ensures team-wide healing, an excellent support ability.
A Star With Your Name (EX)
Acts at the start of the turn and nullifies all damage taken by a chosen ally for the rest of that turn. Use it to protect high-threat units like Scarlet or save an ally on the brink of defeat.
Harold (Gunner)

< Key Skills & Strategy Tips >
As a military band leader, Harold excels as a buffer, enhancing ally performance across the board.
Military Band (Passive)
Boosts all allies’ attack and defense just by being in battle.
Because it’s passive, it strengthens the team without using up a turn.
Coercive Cavalcade (Passive)
Reduces all enemies’ attack and defense.
When combined with Military Band, this offers a major tactical advantage.
Con Fuoco (Passive)
Increases MP gain for all allies.
When fully trained, Harold becomes a powerful passive buffer. Just having him present empowers the team.
Imperial March (Active)
Greatly increases the mobility of a single ally.
Ideal for slower units like Rebecca.
Gallant Parade (EX)
Massively boosts all allies’ attack and restores MP based on the number of allied units.
Unleash this during boss battles or critical moments to swing momentum in your favor.
Jane (Soldier)

< Key Skills & Strategy Tips >
Jane is a unique unit who fights solo without any troops
and holds her own as a well-balanced infantry attacker.
Fighting Spirit (Passive)
If HP is at or below 25% at end of turn, restores 30% HP.
(*Activates only once per battle.) This passive gives her a second wind when near defeat.
Stalwart (Passive)
Unlike other units who take 3 turns to redeploy after falling, Jane returns on the next turn.
This makes her perfect for high-risk breakthroughs.
Smash (Active)
Boosts her defense and restores HP.
Swing (EX)
Increases her attack and mobility until the end of the next turn.
Great for setting up her finisher Knockout Technique.
Knockout Technique (Active)
Becomes available as a replacement for Attack on Turn 3.
A devastating AoE attack, but not usable every turn. Timing is key.
Gwyn (Gunner)

< Key Skills & Strategy Tips >
Gwyn deals damage while rapidly generating MP, allowing frequent use of powerful skills—a top-tier gunner unit.
Royal Advance (Passive)
Increases own MP gain by 75%.
Gwyn generates MP far faster than most units.
Swarm Attack (Active)
Deals AoE damage and reduces enemy defense.
However, Gwyn has very low mobility—second only to Geena—so pairing with Harold for mobility buffs is recommended.
Grosvenor Family Values (Passive)
Increases attack and defense each turn.
The longer the fight goes on, the stronger Gwyn becomes.
Blessed Nobility (Passive)
Increases capture speed for all enemy bases.
If you’re looking to capture enemy bases with a high ★ count, try deploying Gwyn.
Shiny New Golden Bomb (EX)
An indiscriminate AoE attack that targets all units—friend and foe—except Gwyn.
Incredibly powerful but risky; be sure to defend allies before using it.
Rubeus (Soldier)

< Key Skills & Strategy Tips >
Rubeus is a support-focused soldier unit who boosts defense and increases MP gain for the team.
Personal Escort (Active)
Lowers her own defense slightly to increase one ally’s defense by 75%.
Ideal for shielding frequently targeted units.
Police Corps Lookout (Passive)
Increases defense for allied cavalry and artillery.
Useful for protecting vulnerable gunner like Lily.
Splendid Formation (Passive)
Increases MP gain for all soldier allies.
Together with her other passives, Rubeus provides wide-ranging support regardless of unit type.
Gwyn’s Imperial Guards (Passive)
Increases her own attack and defense when Gwyn is in the party.
To fully maximize Rubeus’ potential, deploy her alongside Gwyn.
Renowned Shot (EX)
Acts at the start of the turn, deals damage to the enemy, and significantly boosts MP gain for all allies.
Pairs well with Gwyn and allows you to ignore mobility and act first. Use it to blunt enemy offense preemptively.
Sapphirus (Cavalry)

< Key Skills & Strategy Tips >
Sapphirus is a reliable and easy-to-use cavalry attacker.
Containment Attack (Active)
A powerful debuff that lowers a single enemy’s ATK while dealing damage, all for just 1 MP.
It’s a good opener that leverages Sapphirus’s high ATK.
Enforcers of the Gendarmerie (Passive)
Increases the ATK of allied soldiers and gunner units.
Keep in mind that this synergizes well with Rubeus, whose passive also boosts other unit types.
A Hound’s Nose (Passive)
Boosts crit rate of allied cavalry.
Alongside Rubeus, consider building a formation that really brings out your support potential.
Gwyn’s Imperial Guards (Passive)
Raises ATK and DEF if Gwyn is in the party.
Forming a gendarmerie corps with Gwyn, Rubeus, and Sapphirus will let each of them shine at full power.
Prince’s Hound (EX)
Deals damage to all enemies for 3 MP.
With a mobility stat of 150, Sapphirus excels at leading the charge. This EX is a strong preemptive blow, but you can also choose to hold it and rely on Containment Attack to weaken the enemy first.
Blaubeere (Gunner)

< Key Skills & Strategy Tips >
Blaubeere is a devastating artillery attacker who excels in precision strikes and automatic follow-ups each turn.
Measured Bombardment (Active)
Attacks without triggering enemy counterattacks, even against disadvantageous elements.
Each hit boosts Blaubeere’s crit rate, so the more you use it, the more likely it lands massive damage. The target is random, so be cautious. On the other hand, it’s extremely effective against tough solo enemies.
Supportive Fire (Passive)
Deals additional fixed damage at the start of every turn.
While the damage is modest, it always hits—reliably chipping away at enemy HP.
Commander’s Iron Grip (Passive)
Increases ★ gain rate at allied bases.
It even outpaces Nicol’s similar skill, making Blaubeere a key asset when fortifying the front lines.
Close-Range Artillery (EX)
Deals damage to all enemies.
Use Measured Bombardment beforehand to boost your crit rate, then unleash this skill for a huge payoff. Plan your timing and positioning to hit with maximum impact.
Erle (Soldier)

< Key Skills & Strategy Tips >
A disruption-focused infantry attacker with high mobility, capable of debuffs and stuns. Ideal for launching preemptive strikes.
Idealized Onslaught (Active)
Low damage, but lowers ATK, DEF, and mobility of a single enemy.
Even against neutral or disadvantageous elements, it avoids counterattacks. This makes it a flexible and potent weakening tool.
Infiltration Essence (Passive)
Increases mobility only on Turn 1.
Pair with Lily, who reduces enemy mobility on Turn 1, and you’ll almost never lose initiative. Opening with Idealized Onslaught lets Erle disable key threats right from the start.
Resistance Is Futile (Passive)
Just like Gwyn, Erle captures bases faster.
She can be a powerful asset when invading enemy bases with a high ★ count.
Illusion Waltz (EX)
Targets randomly, but has a high chance to stun a single enemy.
In this game, stun works on all enemies—including bosses—so this EX can give you a major edge in tough fights.
