“The Great Villainess: Strategy of Lily” Strategy Guide (TIPS②)

The Great Villainess: Strategy of Lily is a turn-based strategy game with a satisfying level of challenge.
Here’s what you need to know to beat the game.
TIPS ②
Tips on Basic Controls and Knowledge
Speeding Up the Game

➤ In Battle
Use the button at the top-right to switch between 1.0x and 4.0x game speed.
➤ On the Map
Hold the Shift key to fast-forward enemy turns, resupply phases, and ally movements.
Use this when you want to speed up gameplay.
Tips: Protect Supply Lines, Ignore Unnecessary Fights

This game is about securing supply lines and fighting large armies with limited forces.
Red lines from your base ① show your current supply lines.
・Master the use of the Stream Airship to control enemies.
・You don’t need to defeat all enemies or capture every base to clear an act.
You can skip unnecessary enemies or bases if you want.
Sometimes, it’s better to abandon a base or reconnect supply lines from another direction.
Stream Airship

The Stream Airship is a special system exclusive to Scarlet’s army.
➤ It can be moved anywhere around the bases you’ve captured, any number of times.
➤ It lets you perform various “broadcasts” that affect units within range.
・Stalling Stream (Cost: 1): Prevent enemy units in the area from moving.
・Capture Stream (Cost: 0): Enable capture of enemy generals within range.
・Interception Stream (Cost: 1): Stop resupply for enemy units within range.
・Hustle Stream (Cost: 1): +2 movement for allied units within range.
・Luring Stream (Cost: 1): Pull enemy units from adjacent bases.
“(Doesn’t work on generals or glowing elite units.)
”
・Betrayal Stream (Cost: 2): Flip enemy base to allied base.
(Doesn’t work on enemy HQ or reinforced 凸-shaped bases.)
・Surrender Stream (Cost: 2): Remove enemy units from the base within range without fighting.
Each stream consumes energy from the Stream Airship and when you select “Stop Stream” it recovers 1 energy.
Energy consumption differs with each stream.
Max energy is 3. When the ship’s energy hits 0, the Stream Airship is inactive for 1 turn and then recovers fully.
Turns

Turns are divided into three phases, progressing in the following order: AIRSHIP Phase → ENEMY Phase → PLAYER Phase.
・Airship Phase: Switch the Airship’s stream effects or move its position.
・Enemy Phase: The enemy army performs resupply, movement, and attacks.
Player Phase: Your army (Scarlet’s forces) performs resupply, movement, and attacks.
A key point is that you cannot control the Stream Airship and your units at the same time.
During the Player Phase, you cannot change the Stream Airship’s position or broadcast, so be sure to plan ahead.
Bases

2/5 Display indicates (Current Units) / (Max Units Allowed)
Stars (★): Durability
Durability increases when friendly units are present and decreases when enemy units are present.
Once ★ reach 0, the base is captured, and control switches to the opposing side.
・Replenish Amount | The amount of HP recovered at the base each turn.
★ indicates the durability of each base.
Each base has at least one ★ assigned to it, and the number of ★ represents how many turns it takes to capture the base (in other words, its durability).
When you station friendly units at a base:
On enemy bases, the blue stars decrease (durability decreases).
On friendly bases, the red stars increase (durability increases).
Stars change by 1 per turn, but some characters have field skills that:
・Speed up occupation (reduce ★ by more per turn)
・Reinforce bases faster (increase ★ by more per turn)
Check passive skills for these abilities.
Additionally, the numbers shown above bases, like “1/2,” represent how many units can be stationed there:
(Current Units) / (Max Units Allowed)
This base can hold up to 2 units, and 2 are currently stationed here.
By building up 2 stars through full occupation, it will take the enemy 2 turns to capture it.
TIPS: Additional Notes on Bases
Even if one of your bases is unoccupied, it will not be captured by enemies until its stars (★) are fully depleted. During this time, supply lines remain intact.
On the other hand, occupying an enemy base does not extend your supply line unless you fully deplete its ★. Units stationed at such a base will not receive HP recovery.
Supply Lines

When you capture a base connected to your main HQ, red lines will connect bases, forming a “Supply Line.”
Units stationed in bases connected to the supply line recover HP each turn, based on the amount shown in the base info window (lower left of the screen).
Unit Movement
・All units can move 3 tiles regardless of class.
・You cannot pass through enemy-occupied bases.
・You cannot pass through neutral bases.

Reachable bases are highlighted in white.
You can only move into unclaimed bases that are adjacent to your occupied ones.
However, between your own bases, you can move up to 3 tiles.
Even between friendly bases, you cannot pass through one that has enemy units stationed.
Using the system above, you can station a large force near the front and launch major offensives from well-supplied bases.
Tips for Battle Basics
Commands & Combat Basics
When your unit engages an enemy and you choose “Command,” the battle proceeds in turn-based style.

➤ Battles last up to 3 turns, regardless of outcome.
If one side is wiped out before that, the battle ends immediately.
➤ Reduce enemy HP (Horde Points) to 0 to defeat them.
➤ The MP (Morale Points) of units fluctuate depending on what they do.
・+1 MP for attacking.
・+0.5 MP when attacked.
・+1 MP bonus for defeating an enemy.
The more units you defeat, the more MP you gain—giving you an edge in battle.
➤ After battle, your units gain experience if they survive and defeat enemies.
Units that are defeated do not gain EXP.
Capturing Enemy Generals

To capture an enemy general, use the Capture Stream via the Stream Airship, reduce the general’s HP to red during battle, and attack with Lily’s EX Skill “On the Stage.”
➤ While the Capture Stream is active, the enemy general’s HP cannot be reduced to 0, so you won’t accidentally defeat them.
➤ Since “On the Stage” also deals damage,
if you use it while the general’s HP is still in the yellow, and that attack turns it red, the capture will still succeed.
This can be useful when you’re just one hit away from a successful capture.
Can’t Capture?
1. Lily is not present or Capture Stream is inactive.
The tile you battle on must be under Capture Stream effect, and Lily must use “On the Stage.”
2. The enemy is a normal soldier.
Only generals with a gold medal icon next to their face icon are capturable.
3. Enemy HP isn’t in the red zone.
If “On the Stage” doesn’t push their HP to red, capture fails.
4. The Capture Stream is not in the correct range.
Capture Stream only affects specific bases.
If a general moves during the enemy phase to a non-stream-affected tile, you cannot capture them.
Instead, try stream on your tile and lure the enemy into attacking you there for a setup capture.
Buffs and Debuffs

Buffs and debuffs generally last 3 turns (or until combat ends) unless otherwise noted.
Some can stack, but are reset after battle.
Apply buffs/debuffs in the first turn to gain advantage.

Hover over icons to see their effects.
Check during phase changes or when you have time.
What To Do When Allies Fall

Allies other than Scarlet and Lily will respawn a few turns after being defeated (they won’t disappear).
They will reappear at your HQ or any 凸-shaped allied base.
If multiple bases are available, you can choose which 凸 base to redeploy them.

You can redeploy from a “based shaped like this.”
TIPS: Increasing Trust

When specific unit pairs fight and defeat enemies together, their Trust Level increases.
➤ Trust Levels: C → B → A → S
➤ Level-up requirements vary per pair.
➤ Reaching S unlocks a “Unite Episode” and a powerful Unison Skill (pair skill).
View Unite Episodes from the UNIT menu.
Using Delegated Combat (Auto-Battle)

When using “Delegate,” damage is distributed proportionally based on troop size.
This reduces risk of concentrated damage or critical hits from enemy skills. It could be useful for defense.
“Use “”Command”” for focused attacks or capturing generals.
Use “”Delegate”” when bracing against strong enemy attacks.”
